From the Dean | College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences

Dear ACES family and friends,

I am humbled and honored to share with you that I have been chosen to be the next permanent Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences. I officially begin this role on April 16; however, the real work starts today as we rededicate ourselves to our land-grant mission.

The College of ACES has been my campus home for over 30 years, and while serving as the interim dean, over the past 18 months, I have been continually inspired by our community of changemakers who transform this world for the better. And we need all of your help to continue our progress.

I am enormously encouraged by the countless hands making our impactful work possible. We are providing critical support for research and scholarship, nurturing ecosystems and communities, making education more accessible and inclusive, spurring economic development, and strengthening our global reputation. This is such an exciting time for the College of ACES, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
