We are working around the world to improve crop, animal, and dairy production; alleviate the effects of climate change; empower women farmers; modernize extension programs; and much more. Our faculty and researchers are engaged in more than 76 countries working with fellows to develop collaborative courses and host internship programs with foreign universities and provide international internships.

Core Programs

Soybean Innovation Lab

This comprehensive program is dedicated to soybean research. It works to reduce global poverty and hunger by improving the productivity of smallholder farmers.

AgReach empowers small-scale farmers by sharing information and technology that can help them thrive. Supporting these farmers has the power to improve poor, rural communities.

Appropriate Scale Mechanization Consortium

This program is part of the Sustainable Intensification Innovation Lab. It works to help smallholder farmers implement more intensive, practical, and sustainable gender-sensitive farming practices.

ADM Institute for the Prevention of Postharvest Loss

This institute creates ways to prevent the loss of staple crops from the food chain by improving postharvest systems. Addressing postharvest loss can help improve the lives of farmers and reduce hunger.
